Farm Tours

Are you looking for a fun, local field trip idea for your elementary or preschool class or local children's group?

We are pleased to offer scheduled farm tours to school and community groups!

GENERAL TOUR OUTLINE:

​​

• Walking tour of the farm, including viewing of/discussion about the farm animals

• Collecting eggs

• Preparing animal feed

• Feeding animals (contactless from a safe distance)

• Veggie garden tour **available summer months only**

Tour length: approximately 1.25 hours
Cost: $50 per tour
Maximum participants: 40 students (does not include accompanying adults)

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

1. You will get dirty!! Please wear appropriate clothes and shoes. Gum boots are highly recommended!

2. This is a working farm with many potential hazards. Children MUST be able to follow instructions and stay with the group. If any children will have difficulty with this, please ensure they have adequate support.

3. We have plenty of parking so parents/guardians are very welcome to join if they like!

4. Hand washing facilities are in the barn, but the only bathroom is in our house, just FYI!
